Where in the world have, I been???

I haven’t posted for almost a year! Is that anyway to run a music website? NO… but….

Here is the reason… 2018 was to be the best year ever, and in many ways, it has been…except it has been a tough year for me physically… you may or may not know, but I have been diagnosed with the “little ‘c’” word (cancer!).   So, we have entered a new world that I call “doctor world!”

Many friends and family are praying for me, which I am humbled and very grateful.  I believe the Lord’s promises from His Word, such as Psalm 30:2 – “I cried out to the Lord, and he healed me!”  Specifically, my cancer is not aggressive and is located in my prostate.  I am scheduled for surgery on January 15, 2019 – so if you are reading this, please pray for me, my recovery and for my family – that Jesus Christ will be exalted in my body and through this physical challenge – that I may reflect His joy in the journey and thankfulness for all that He has done, is doing and will be doing in the days, weeks and months ahead.  So, musically – things are still happening, but not much writing.   I’m still teaching, arranging, coaching worship teams and playing.  I'm still loving Christ and serving Him.  I’m grateful for every breath and every opportunity.  So, what is the take away? Don’t get discouraged in the battles of life, as Proverbs 3:5-6 state – Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He will direct your paths.  God is in control, as one dear friend stated to me, “God’s got this!”  I know He does and I am resting in Him.  Thanks for taking the time to read this, for listening and for your prayers. Also, if you haven't listened to any of my songs... why not take a listen... thanks again... God is good.

Blessings,

Teddy
