Bio

As a native Floridian, Teddy began writing songs at an early age.  This passion for music grew in him over time and allowed him to study guitar, tour, and write music.  He discovered an amazing relationship with God through faith in Jesus Christ at an early age and his faith is reflected in the songs that he writes.  His easy-listening style reflects the influences of pop, jazz, classical, and rock.  From “David Gates” like melodies decorated with classical style themes, to the lyrical writing similar to “Steven Curtis Chapman” and “Bob Carlisle,” his songs communicate a message of hope in today’s world.

Teddy’s vision, as a singer/songwriter, see’s himself telling God’s story from different roles that include: a worshiper, a prophet, a seeker, a proclaimer of good news, and as a storyteller.  His goal in songwriting is to engage the heart of the listener to be moved in such a way that they are drawn closer to God.  His latest project involves using the genre of Jazz, creating a light pop-jazz sound weaving expectation as one re-discovers the Christmas season.

Teddy presents his songs and music in such a musical way, that it expresses the emotion, feelings, and wonder of music he writes. People who listen find themselves engaged in his music.  His music touches the fabric of living life today while evoking a sense of hope, even in the darkest times.

His music is available to listen to on Spotify, Apple Music, Bandcamp, and other streaming services or on his website at teddyofarrell.com
